German Weather Small Talk: "Heute ist schönes Wetter, oder?"
"Heute ist schönes Wetter, oder?" means "Nice weather today, isn't it?" and is a classic way to start small talk about the weather in German. The "oder?" (isn't it?/right?) at the end lightly seeks the other person's agreement. On a bad-weather day, "Heute ist schlechtes Wetter" (The weather's bad today) is also commonly used.
