Italian Weather Small Talk: "Fa bel tempo oggi, vero?"

"Fa bel tempo oggi, vero?" means "Nice weather today, isn't it?" and is a classic way to start small talk about the weather in Italian. The "vero?" at the end lightly seeks the other person's agreement. On a bad-weather day, "Oggi fa brutto tempo" (The weather's bad today) is also commonly used.
