日本語
Japanese Phrase for Asking Directions: "〜はどこですか?"
"〜はどこですか?" (~ wa doko desu ka?) is the basic Japanese phrase for asking where something is. Just swap in the place name for various situations. For a more polite ask, add "すみません" (Sumimasen, excuse me) at the front. A typical reply is "あそこにありますよ" (Asoko ni arimasu yo, It's over there), pointing out the direction.
