French Shopping Phrase: "Combien ça coûte ?"
"Combien ça coûte ?" means "How much does it cost?" and is the basic way to ask for a price while shopping in French. To point at something specific, "Combien coûte celui-ci ?" (How much does this one cost?) is used. When you want to try something on, "Puis-je l'essayer ?" (Can I try it on?) is also commonly used.
