French Weather Small Talk: "Il fait beau aujourd'hui, n'est-ce pas ?"
"Il fait beau aujourd'hui, n'est-ce pas ?" means "Nice weather today, isn't it?" and is a classic way to start small talk about the weather in French. The "n'est-ce pas ?" at the end lightly seeks the other person's agreement. On a bad-weather day, "Il fait mauvais aujourd'hui" (The weather's bad today) is also commonly used.
