Hindi Farewell Phrase: "अलविदा"
"अलविदा" (Alvida) means "goodbye" in Hindi, but it actually sounds somewhat literary and dramatic. In everyday conversation, "फिर मिलेंगे" (Phir milenge, "see you again") or "नमस्ते" (Namaste, the same greeting used for hello) are more commonly used when parting.
