Hindi Restaurant Phrase: "बिल दीजिए"
"बिल दीजिए" (Bill dijiye) means "Please bring the bill" and is a common way to ask for the check at a restaurant in Hindi. "Bill" is a loanword from English, used as-is in everyday Hindi conversation. A more polite version is "बिल ला दीजिए" (please bring the bill over). When ordering, "मुझे...चाहिए" (I want...) is also commonly used.
