Arabic Weather Small Talk: "الجو جميل اليوم، أليس كذلك؟"
"الجو جميل اليوم، أليس كذلك؟" (Al-jaw jameel al-yawm, alaysa kadhalik?) means "Nice weather today, isn't it?" and is a classic way to start small talk about the weather in Arabic. The "أليس كذلك؟" (isn't it?) at the end lightly seeks the other person's agreement. On a bad-weather day, "الجو سيء اليوم" (The weather's bad today) is also commonly used.
