Chinese Weather Small Talk: "今天天气真好,是吧?"
"今天天气真好,是吧?" (Jīntiān tiānqì zhēn hǎo, shì ba?) means "Nice weather today, isn't it?" and is a classic way to start small talk about the weather in Chinese. The "是吧?" (isn't it?) at the end lightly seeks the other person's agreement. On a bad-weather day, "今天天气真糟糕" (The weather's really terrible today) is also commonly used.
