Russian Weather Small Talk: "Сегодня хорошая погода, правда?"

"Сегодня хорошая погода, правда?" (Segodnya khoroshaya pogoda, pravda?) means "Nice weather today, isn't it?" and is a classic way to start small talk about the weather in Russian. The "правда?" (isn't it?) at the end lightly seeks the other person's agreement. On a bad-weather day, "Сегодня плохая погода" (The weather's bad today) is also commonly used.
